what this is

ugc.name gives you one public page at ugc.name/@yourhandle with the brand videos you choose, what each one did, and a way to book you. Using the service means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, do not publish a page.

You need to be 16 or older to have an account.

your work stays yours

You own everything you put on your page. You are giving us permission to store it, resize it, and show it to anyone who opens your link, for as long as your account exists — nothing more. We do not use your videos or images to advertise the product without asking you first, and that permission ends when you delete the content or the account.

In return, you are telling us you actually have the right to post what you post: that the videos are yours or you were licensed to use them, and that the numbers you type in are the real ones.

what it costs

• $10 per month. One price, no tiers, no fee per link, and no cut of what a brand pays you.
• The first 7 days are free, and they start when you publish your page — not when you sign up. Building it and looking at it costs nothing.
• Cancel in one click, any time. You keep the rest of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months, and we will not charge you again after you cancel.
• If a payment fails we will tell you and try again before anything changes on your page.
• If we ever change the price, existing accounts get told by email at least 30 days before it applies to them.

what happens if you stop paying

Your page pauses. It does not get deleted. The address keeps working and shows a short note that the page is paused, your content stays exactly as you left it, and paying again brings it straight back. We do not take your handle off you for not paying.

your handle

• Claim one and publish, and it is yours for as long as your account is open.
• Claim one and never publish, and after 30 days it goes back in the pool for someone else. We email you twice before that happens.
• Some handles are held back — the words this site needs for its own pages, and a short list of platform names.
• You cannot take a handle in order to pretend to be a person or a brand you are not, and you cannot sit on handles to sell them.

what we will not host

Pages that break the law, impersonate someone, use work you have no right to, or carry sexual content involving minors, harassment, or content promoting violence against people. Also: attempts to break, overload or probe the service itself.

If a page does any of that we will take it down, and for anything serious we will close the account. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you what happened and give you the chance to put it right first.

leaving

Delete your account whenever you want and the page goes with it. Email hello@ugc.name if you also want the records behind it removed — see the privacy page for what those are.

what we do not promise

We work to keep the service up and your page fast, but we do not promise it will never be down and we do not promise any particular result from having one — no views, no clicks, no bookings. The numbers shown on your page come from you or from the platforms’ own APIs, and we do not independently verify either.

If something goes wrong and it is our fault, what we owe you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

changes, and where this is argued

If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that is how you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and the courts there are where any dispute is heard.
